Inside the park the road to Sunrise was chip-sealed as Ralph reported.
The gravel is now well consolidated. There is just a dusting of loose

We are blessed in the Northwest with many "Most Scenic" locations, but
rarely do we get the opportunity to get them packaged together like next
month's Crater Lake 1000K ride. You are probably well aware of the stunning

Chris and I are putting on this Fall's 600K along with the accompanying 200K.
I'm hoping to get the word out now so you crazy kids can hopefully register
early. I'd really love to see you all out there.

The entire stretch from SR-410 to the very top is now brand new chip seal. Just
applied last week.
Saw it with our very own eyes! :-(
