54mm Zepps would be perfect, but VO has a sale on their 58mm fluted
fenders... and having the flutes to paint in a coordinating color is
appealing... I could easily dimple them ever so slightly where they
pass through the caliper, using Peter Weigle's technique which worked
so nicely on the Zepps on my Shogun. Do you think the 58mm fenders
would look too wide with 42mm Hetres? The Zepps seem to be perfectly
proportioned for them.
