The trails are pretty nice. Don't believe every desk clerk you speak to. There are plenty of additional things to do in Xenia and environs. Clifton Mill (Clifton), working mill and great resturant (try the sausage and gravy biscuits); Youngs Jersey Dairy (Yellow Springs), Ice Cream, Resturant, Ice Cream, Gift shop, Ice Cream, Miniture Golf, Ice Cream, Petting Zoo, and Ice Cream. Wright-Patterson AFB (Fairborn) Great Museum and occasional peace summits; John Bryant State Park; Caesar Creek Recreation Area; Glen Helen Enviromental Center; Canoe rentals or tubing on the Little Miami; miles and miles of low volume country roads (if you feel like getting off the trail), 5 Covered Bridges in just Greene County, James Galloway Cabin and Xenia Historical Society; Stations on the underground Railway; the National Afro-American Museum; Indian mounds; Outlet and mall shopping nearby; seasonal attractions like the Greene County Fair and a rennaisance festival; and I'm sure more which doesn't come to mind. In my case it has the added attraction of being my parents' hometown ;^) John Gorham New Market, MD > From: " Bob Brubaker" <brubmail(AT)yahoo.com> > Subject: Fw: Rail Trail Report (Xenia OH) > > Only down side is that the Trails seem to be only town feature.
