Nice work.

Comment 1: Perhaps a take-away text box with words that emphasize the
need for the captain to break the habit of swinging a leg over the back
of the saddle when mounting or dismounting which, as you would suspect,
would result in putting your foot into the side of your stoker's head or

Comment 2: Variations on Captain's mount / dismount:
1. Step-over as demonstrated, or
2. Leg swing over handlebars, ala track bike mount. Although not always
practical or possible for all captains, it is a very effective and safe
way to mount a tandem which precludes whacking the stoker or the top
tube with a foot.

Comment 3: Variations on Stoker's mount / dismount:
1. Step-over as demonstrated, or
2. Stepping on to and off of near side pedal to mount the tandem similar
to using a stirrup to mount a horse.
