This year I also thought I'd go ahead and parse out some of the other "top
10" lists to highlight where the most significant changes have occurred.
NET GROWTH: The states that saw their overall membership numbers climb in
'05 are:
Col. A = Total Number of TCA Members per US State
Col. B = Net Change in Membership from '05
Col. C = Percentage of net change in Membership from '05

Missouri 33 3 9.1%
South Carolina 12 3 25.0%
Florida 63 2 3.2%
Utah 8 2 25.0%
Delaware 4 2 50.0%
Wisconsin 33 1 3.0%
Arizona 17 1 5.9%
Connecticut 17 1 5.9%
New Mexico 7 1 14.3%
Nebraska 6 1 16.7%
Rhode Island 6 1 16.7%
NEW MEMBERS: Although most are struggling to maintain overall membership,
the states showing the strongest growth in new members are:
Col. A = No. of members with membership #'s greater than 11000
Col. B = % of newer members as a component of total membership
Col. C = Overall change in membership from '05 to '06

California 21 25.0% - 7.1%
Pennsylvania 16 25.4% + 0.0%
Washington 14 30.4% -10.9%
Michigan 13 23.6% - 1.8%
Florida 13 20.6% + 3.2%
Texas 12 22.6% - 3.8%
Indiana 11 30.6% - 5.6%
Missouri 10 30.3% + 9.1%
ATTRITION: The states that saw their membership numbers fall the most
